The most preferred method is Hot Water Extraction which is widely known as Steam Cleaning. Dry foam shampoo, encapsulating crystals and low moisture method are the other alternatives.

Both methods leave your carpet fresh and clean and with the reduced drying time from 40 min. to 6 hr. depending on the method selected and the relative humidity. However the Hot Water Extraction method cleans better, deeper and is recommended from most carpet
manufacturers.

Detergents, also good for cleaning usually leave a residue on the carpets, which can attract dirt and cause rapid re-soiling. Other chemicals will destroy the protector of new generation carpets and eventually void the manufacturer's warranty. Improperly selected cleaning methods and/or detergents can completely destroy the carpet texture or fiber structure.
